Living in fear often results in OUR need to be “in control” of everything in OUR lives. Controlling the elements of our environment and the narrative is essential to “remaining safe.” Learning to “fly under the radar” or “be quietly polite” or “minimally engaged” become common coping mechanisms.
Ironically, we are so focused on what “in control” looks
like for us we fail to consider what “in control” really looks like for those stakeholders engaged in OUR lives. We create walls of protection in our
“aloneness” resulting in separation from the nurturing essence of love and
validation; elements critical in moving beyond fear.
Finding OUR liberated
lives begin when WE make the
intentional decision to no longer allow fear to remain the guiding narrative in
our “being and doing.” Finding OUR “fierceness” begins when we own OUR “fearlessness.”
I see you; do you?
